For as long as I can remember, I knew one thing about hairspray: You can hold a lighter up to it and make a pretty sick flamethrower.

Of course, this is a dangerous thing to do, but if you’re a kid with a lot of free time, the idea of “danger” rarely supersedes the idea of “this would be a cool way to kill about 20 minutes.”

Still, there was always that one kid who took things too far. The person filming this video is one of those kids, at least in spirit. By attaching a firecracker to a can of hairspray, I’m sure he thought he made a sick firework, but in the end, he basically constructed a bomb.

Let's add 'detonating a can of hairspray just to see' to the list of stupid things people do out of curiosity
