It's been a long time since I been on this site. I've been too busy being pregnant and kind of lost interest. But on Thursday, I finally exploded and popped out a baby (well, he was cut out because they had to do an emergency C-section, but you get the point). I thought I'd dread it but so far, so good.

He was born with an extra finger on each hand and an extra toe on each foot. No joke. The extra fingers are pretty weird. They have no bone in them and round (one looks like a grape) but there's a little fingernail on each one. They're just hanging there. One of them turned purple today, so when I took him to the doctors they tied a string on them so they'd fall off. Seriously, there's going to be fingers laying around. I'm a little creeped out by that.

The toes have bones in them and they look almost normal (meaning how they are positioned and what not) but they still need to be removed. They can't do it now because they would have to surgically remove them (obviously) and knock him out to do so.
