Audioslave...
...kicks ass. Need I say more? Oh, well then...The song 'Cochise' has an intro that totally blows and can get annoying, but when the song really gets going, it's simply orgasmic. That song is amazing. 'Shadow On The Sun' is another great song. Bleak, yet coming in with more guitar and screaming at the end. I like to do my serious thinking while I listen to that song. 'Original Fire' is catchy in a kinda hippiesh way, so it definitely gets stuck in your head. But in a good way. 'Revelations', 'Moth', and 'One And The Same' are all examples of just plain bitchin songs. You can tell I'm running out of adjectives now. But how else can you describe awesome better than that? 'Like A Stone' also has a bleak feel to it, further enforced by the lyrics. This is followed by an almost redemptive refrain. 'Show Me How To Live's refrain makes me simply shit my pants. You can't beat the adrenaline of that, unless counting 'Cochise's explosive guitar. And finally, although I could keep going, the last song I will highlight is 'Be Yourself'. The title alone says it all, but despite being a little depressing, it still remains one of my favorite songs. So, if I haven't gotten you to listen to more Audioslave, then there is no hope for you, so find a corner to curl up in while everyone else enjoys the great sounds of a great band.
