Baby has Great-Great-Great Grandmother!
I just read an article on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation news site (cbc.ca) that a child was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, whose great-great-great grandmother is still alive today, aged 92.
Many people are lucky enough to live a healthy life to that ripe age, but what's uncommon is a family tree with living members extends 6 generations. And interestingly, they all still live about 15 minutes away from one another.
Just a thought: If we had the same family tree on the show 16 and Pregnant 6 times consecutively , the record could be broken, with the Great-great-great-great-grandmother being only 102 years old, rounding up births to the age of 17. (17 x 6).
But 16 and Pregnant is an American show, and as we all know, American women are morbidly obese and fall apart due to diabetic neuropathy and necrosis by the age of 43 or die of liver or heart failure, so not much of a chance of that happening.
Shut up, fatty. You know I'm right.
