Not sure if anyone else has heard about this, but apparently (some time in the future - possibly in our life time) that we will be following what Europe has done with their currency...and that is introduce the Amero!  A combination of the Canadian dollar, US dollar, and the Mexican peso.

Being that I'm not an economist, I'm left a little uneasy if this were to actually happen and I'm curious as to what all of you thought about it, or if you heard of this as well.

Would this mean fuel and energy costs will increase?  Would manufacturing move back to the US and Canada and revive our economy if we were all under the same currency?
