I would write a blog about the mod situation going on, but so many others have put it all so succinctly, that it would just be far too redundant for me to write one as well.  So instead, I will go on with my normal, ranting, pissy blogs.

Fuck celebrities.

I hate celebrities as a whole.  Most of them aren't worth the air that they breathe, much less the money they're paid.  I hate the gossip, I hate the fact that they're on the news over any little thing that happened.  I hate how fake they are.  They piss me off to no end, really.

Why do we pay these people so much?  Acters, musicians, pro athletes, etc...  They're all paid millions and millions of dollars.  For what?  To entertain us.  Why do we put such a high price on entertainment?  Why do we pay people to throw a ball or sing a song more than we pay the people who give us an education to get us normal people ahead in life?  I personally believe that teachers are the ones who should be making millions for what they do, and this is not just because I'm the daughter of a teacher or that I want to be one myself.  Teachers OBVIOUSLY don't do the job they do for the money, or there would be no teachers.  $30k is not exactly a large amount to live on for a full year. 

Back in the days of kings and queens, what were the jesters paid?  The minstrels?  Jack shit, that's what.  When did all this shit change?  When did entertainment become so high priced?  Who decided that celebrities deserved more than the people who actually work hard for a living to just barely scrape by?

And I don't give a damn if some celebrity has donated to a charity.  Guess what?  So do I.  You're not that special for doing it. 

I did the math on this one...  I figured out that if one single celebrity gave me $1mil, I could live comfortably for 25 YEARS (probably longer) if either my husband or I still worked.  Seems kind of fucking ridiculous when you see these fuckers living in $100mil mansions, doesn't it?  That $100mil could've been used to help a fuck load of deserving families (families where the parents work two jobs each just to get by and such) live so much better lives.  I don't give a fuck if you made them sign a contract saying that they had to keep working while using the mil as a supplement or else it would all be taken back away.  That would be fine by me!

And celebrity parents?  Oh, don't get me fucking started.  You are worthless.  Is it really so important to see some (horrible) actor's baby that you would pay $3mil for the fucking picture?  Jeebus fucking Crisp on a fence post!!!  Guess what?  I pushed one out of me too.  YOU'RE NOT THAT SPECIAL.

And I have to address everyone's apparent favourite Hollywood couple.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie:  I fucking hate you.  You're beyond fake in all that you do.  Everyone sees the adoptions from foreign countries and says, "Oh, she's such a good person!"  Bullshit.  Sure, she's given those two kids a chance to get out of the shit hole country they lived in, but it's not like they're raising those kids.  You can bet your ass that they're not getting up every two hours (or less) during the night to nurse those two new twins.  Fuck no.  They've hired someone else to do that.  They've hired people to raise the kids for them.  Yet they're SUCH good people.  Gag me with a fucking spoon.  If they wanted to be good people, why didn't they adopt some of the thousands of fucking kids here in the US that are over the age of 5 and basically have no chance of being adopted otherwise?  I would've commended them slightly for that.

Celebrities also piss me off in that all they ever get is a slap on the wrist and more publicity when they fuck up with the law.  That pisses me the fuck off.  If I were to drive drunk and get caught numerous times, I can pretty much guarantee you that I wouldn't spend only 23 days in my own private cell.  I'd probably get stuck for at least 6 months in a small cell with a woman named Lucy that weighed 250 lbs and was 6'4" tall and used to have a penis.

It's fucking ridiculous.  I hate you, you over paid pieces of shit.  Fuck you and your fake sense of charity and goodwill.
