So, it has been a week since I posted my last blog on this site. I came back to find that in that time there have only been four other blogs created. That was it, just four others....and with the exception of PepperPeanut giving a brief rundown of the new changes to the site, which I will get back to in a bit, the others were a regurgitated article about a toy plane, a repost about a guy setting himself on fire while being dumb at a football game, and a likely copy pasted blurb about the life of tires on your car.  This was it.  For the entire week.

We have hit a low guys.

I was never, and have never counted myself among the best bloggers on this site. I was mediocre at best. My talent as a writer is far underwhelming compared to some of the brilliant wordsmiths from the pre-riff days. Yet...here we are....for the last week, I was the only actual blogger to post anything. This is fine though, because it means that there is a lot of room for expansion and rebuilding. It seems that now may be the time to start the process of making a new home in the ashes of what once was. I plan to continue blogging as I am able and If I end up being the only one to do it, then so be it, this will be a place that I can word vomit as I want, and if some of you happen to read and like my stories, then feel free to join me and tell your own.

Touching back to the site changes though. I just want to say that after looking around at the new site design, the new layouts, and the general drastic changes that have been made.... I like what I see. It is different for sure, but it is very intuitive. The return of the NSFW section will be sure to draw back a good portion of the site that jumped ship though the no nudity thing is still in place so it isint really a huge change. The new changes to how galleries can be viewed is phenomenal and  grid view is something that I have wanted back for quite some time, and the lightbox view will be another good extension of this. The way that comments will be featured will be another nice change as well, though good luck to the admins going through the deluge of trollish comments, but it does have the potential to showcase a lot of the just brilliant wit of some of the members of our community. Lastly the new site stats for members is just kind of a cool addition that I am kind of meh about, but it will be cool to actually see the numbers generated off of my posts and how I stack up against other dedicated members of this site.

Overall the site changes( and the fact that the blog section is completely dead at this point) has rekindled a bit of excitement in me to see this section rebuilt, but at the same time understanding that it could go the other way and fall out of existence completely. I, however, will be here a fair bit more often and I look forward to making feeble attempts to entertain you.
