Evolv is a new brand of bottled water. Like all good businesses they are trying to pitch, market, and sell their product. The selling point for Evolv is that it increses O2 uptake inthe body.

The idea is that if you can increase the amount of Oxygen (O2) in your cells your performance and recovery will be improved. This claim has actually been found to be true in studies.

One of the biggest "celebrities" pitching this product is Guy Mezger. I respect and admire Guy Mezger for his MMA and other martial arts accomplishments, but he has sold out with this product. he even went so far as to post a 10 min video endorsement found here:

So what is in Evolv water that makes it so special that a workd class athlete would endorse it and rave about it as something that he wants his family to use?

As Guy puts it in his video...to paraphrase, "it's not water...water is just the transportation device."

In fact it IS just water. Supposedly it's the "archaea active" that is the O2 enhancing ingredient in the water.

What is Archaea Active? Archaea is a microrganism very similar to bacteria. These little creatures live everywhere, lakes, ponds, dirt, rocks, trees, literally everywhere. They are extremeophilic meaning they tend to survive in harsh places....sulfer pits, near lava flows, or hot geysers.

What FutureCeuticles (really the name) does to make the Evolv water...is they ferment  a concentrated amount of these microrganisms much like making beer, or wine. the then go through some sort of filtration or distilation process.

The Result - water with a bunch of dead (some still alive) single celled organisms in it.

Some how, this is supposed to help you increase O2 levels in your body.

There is ZERO science behind the claims made to increase O2 levels. In one test by FutureCeuticles they compared blood samples that were given a concentrated (live organisms), semi concentrated, and pure 100% distiled water (0% anything but water). The comparison was made between samples of blood that has an O2 accepting cells and samples that did not.

The result - all 3 increased O2 levels....however the samples with stuff in it increased more. (not unexpected)

So what's the point of my Blog entry?

Evolv water is REALLY wants you to buy it's water for more than $2/bottle. They also want you to be a distributor, and will aggressively reachout to you and offer you the world, tell you all sorts of good things about it.

Fact of the matter is it's no different than going down to the nearest lake and takeing a big swig from it.  - minus the dirt.

Oh yeah they also offer an "energy drink" - they try to claim that most other energy drinks are made of sugar and other artifcial stimulants...Their drink is just grape/acai juice.

What do you think is the main ingredient? - Sugar. Where do you get the "energy" from? Sugar.
