I've got to go into work today.  I've been out a week and a half.  My students have turned in projects, taken a test, and turned in atomic structure models.  Grades have to be input today for report cards.  Substitutes can't do that.  I'm not sure how it's to be handled as I've never really missed a lot of work before.  I don't really take vacations when there's work, because I squeeze them in between my professional development classes in the summer or during spring break.  I guess I'm going to go in and enter some grades while the sub is watching my students.  I'm not allowed back at work, working, until I get a medical release.  Not sure what the deal is there.

I have to fax in a letter of recommendation for one of my students.  Damn fax is long distance, so I can't send it from my house.  I have no long distance service on my lan phone line.  I'll have to do that from work too.

My daughter has been staying with a co-worker so she can go to school (I live 50 miles from my job where she goes to school with me).  I'm going to pick her up at work today to take her home.

My wife is going out dancing with the same girls she ended up puking in the bathroom with a couple weeks ago.  I can't explain how jazzed I am about that /sarcasm/.  I asked her to please, for her kid's sake, don't be the source of a family tragedy because you now lack self control and your friends are bullshit for looking out for you.

I'm to the point in my recovery to where I think I can care for my kids without help.  I don't think that was on the radar though.  I was doing that when my nether regions where a seething mess of pain and horror anyway.

Seriously... Fuck my life.

I'm about ready to go out and find somebody else too, at this point.  But my wife, my house, and my children are what I've worked for my entire life. 

I'm not being a whiney bitch or anything, but I've got a bad attitude about this thing called life right now.
