So I was with my friends Corey and Jarret, we were driving in Corey's new Civic. Oddly enough his Civic was automatic, something i hadn't seen before but this has nothing to do with the story.

We are driving downtown and Corey's civic doesn't have license plates, partially because he's an idiot and partially because he had to get repairs before it was road safe, but he did manage to get a temporary plate. Here is where the problem begins.

    We are pulled over because as stupid as Corey is he drives past a police station, one of the squad cars follows us, we quickly realize none of us are wearing seat-belts (1st violation), we also have a bunch of alcohol within reach of the driver, opened bottles etc. (2nd viloation).

    So we get pulled over and the cop walks up, he asks for information and claims we were pulled over so he could check the expiration date on the temporary plate (which is taped in the front window). However we all believe the real reason he pulled us over is gangster hats and hoods lined with fur. Regardless we are now worried as he asks us to get out of the vehicle, we think hopefully I can get out of the back of the 2-door civic easily enough to not have the cop hear bottles clanking at my feet, which is quite a task as i am 6 foot 6.

    We open the door and are about to get out when all of a sudden a woman crossing the road gets hit by a driver who was distracted looking over at our situation. I wasn't fortunate enough to see the actual hitting but I can not deny that i heard screaming after, the cop looks at us puzzled as though we had something to do with it. He goes running over throwing Corey's license and registration back into the car.

    Corey and myself are lost for words but Jarret being the guy he is rolls down his window and yells over to the cop, "so can we go?" We didn't need anymore then a quick nod before we were on our way out of there. The funniest part of the whole story is aboud a half hour after this happens Jarret gets a call on his cellphone from his friend AJ who said, "you won't believe what just happened i saw some guy get pulled over downtown and when i was looking i hit some old lady."
