I've been trying to do at least one good thing everyday.

Today, my dad and I came home after dropping my car off to get fixed. There was a fucking turtle in our yard. Just some random turtle- no bodies of water around. It was like some kids found it, brought it home from school, and decided they didn't want it and placed it in my dad's yard.

So I did a little bit of research, made sure that s/he would be able to survive in the pond by my mothers and I took him there and set him free. I was glad to see that he swam away so fast. It's a sign that he's still wild and now free.

However small, I was glad I could save one life. And s/he is nearby so I'll be able to stop in and see him/her from time to time. I know it's stupid but it made my day.
