These days it seems like there are new artists everyday, some hit high into the charts, others not so much. I like a few of the newer artists out there. I liked Blue October from the second I heard their song Hate Me. And Calling you is pretty damn good too. I never could like John Mayer though. I have my reasons. First of all I remember one song, I wish I could remember the actual title of it, so people would know which one I am talking about, but in this song, he ends the song by singing the same six lyrics around 28-30 times. I know, because I was really bored and temporarily crazy and counted the damn thing. And then his other song, something about waiting for the world to change... I have no clue why this one bothered me so much, but from the get go, I was like, No, you don't wait for it to change, if you want change you have to work towards that change. I am not trying to rip him a new one, I do believe he is very talented, but he's just not my type of artist I guess. I also like that pretty young woman Delta Goodrem and her song "In This Life". Although she's not particularly new to music, she signed a record deal with Sony when she was 15, back in 2001. But she is new to the USA, having only recently debuted there, in my country. There are many new artists in the music business, both solo artists and band groups. And many are good and receive lots of attention, and many can be overlooked, despite their great talent. So as is typical with my blogs, I am asking for the opinion of people. Which new or somewhat artist do you like most, and which, if any do you feel have been overlooked?
