It's 1:30 am on a backroad close to Allentown, PA. I'm driving my girlfriend home and am going about 60 in a 35 (the road's pretty windy and I have a Subaru STI.... go figure). I should have known better because about halfway to her house, I see the infamous flashing lights behind me. The first thing i could say was...., "Shit". In the passenger seat, my giirfriend is laughing and has that "I-told-you-so" grin on her face.

The cop comes up to the window, looks at me and says, "I was just about to leave that spot... I've been waiting for you all day."

"I got here as fast as I could. Sorry I'm late.", was the immidiate response from me (that mouth-to-brain thing doesn't work so well for me lol). Expecting some form of handcuffs and an unpleasant search, I was relieve when the cop busted into laughter.

After checking my license and other info, he sent me on my way saying only, "Slow down and be a little more careful smartass."
