Every year when I grew up my home town had a Chistmas tree set up in the middle of town and I didnt realize the damage this did to the residents who lived there. The problem was that the middle of town was also where the court house sat and every year people would come by and look upon the face of evil. We had no idea we were destroying democracy and allowing the end of our world as we knew it. We all thought we were celebrating the holidays and sharing them with ALL our neighbors whether you believed in Christ or not, didnt even enter the picture.

I was luckiy enough to have had friends of different walks of life and different beliefs, we had many Christmas dinners and yes a lot of them were held right there in the court house I had one friend who didnt believe in God at all and another who wasnt sure (hey we all have questions) but the thing is NOBODY cared. When I was young I was so jealous of my Jewishfriends who had those really neat candles not to mention all those many days of gifts and the thing that stands out in my mind about all this is how nobody wanted to stop people from having a good time.

We have all become such a group of victims and everybody thinks that their hurt and pain should come before anybody elses and if they can make you feel bad or stop you from celebrating then they will certainly do it. I really am so damn tired of people and their B/S, so what if a tree is put up and why does that offend you? I really dont think it does, its just another way to stand and shout LOOK AT ME AND ALL THE POWER I HAVE!  I can already hear them talking about separation of church and state and I want to scream GET OVER YOURSELF. When I get off this computer I will be turning on my weird looking candles that stay on at night and hope it makes somebody smile and if you look at my tree you will see this weird looking ornament that is a star with several sides to it. My friends the Greens gave them to me a few years back while we ate dinner and celebrated the friendship we have. I personaly am of the Christain belief but this time of year I try to be withfriends and family and take a break from all the Drama and just enjoy the company.
