You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. That innocuous sentence was always the start to the pathâs taken by everyone who was deemed ready to be un-plugged, and taken into what was reality. The red pill will always start that journey for you and you will be shown the truth, but is that the better choice.

The matrix universe is a fairly large universe created by the Wachowski brothers, and for the majority of people who have not taken the effort it takes to actually watch all of the movies, play all the games, and read the comics, they remain lost and have no idea what really happened and even for those of us who have delved into the true meanings and happenings in this vast universe are still left with an ever present shade of gray about everything.

We do know quite a bit about it however, we know that the matrix is a computer program designed to enslave humanity. We know that there have been more than one version of the matrix and we know that the matrix has restarted itself several times. For those who become unplugged and have rejected the matrix their safe haven is in Zion, the large underground city which houses the humans who have become unplugged. This safe haven turns out to be just another level of control for the machines, because zion and the matrix are for the most part just different layers of the same program. The story is an enthralling one and I do recommend you actually delve into further if you have not done so already.

We see so much happen throughout the matrix, but because the end of revolutions just leaves us with hundreds of questions about everything, and we do not ever see what is real and what is just an elaborate illusion in which this entire universe sits within another universe and where the actions of every character never truly makes any difference on the grand scale of things. The story is deep and you are perpetually forced to fill in the blanks that have been purposefully left out.
