Another deep discussion I had with myself, this one was a good year ago.

The truth of significance is so evident in the eyes of those who observe the two extremes of perceptual “life” among American people. We can simply attribute the significance of life to the American Dream; to come from rock-bottom to being the top dog. But what happens when you reach the top? Without the humility and pride in the struggle of humanity, we are without life. It’s the fight to (physically and metaphorically) survive that gives humanity its essence. To bring to the table whatever quality you have and be proud of it, to see the beauty in negative spaces, to love unconditionally though a war of emotion and external stimulus, these are few of many an example. So, what makes life significant? Making life worth fighting for makes it significant.
