Gold. is it possible that the US government is keeping a strict secret on a large discovery of gold?  They may already have the gold mined out and stored. The one reason I can think of this is happening is if the discovery is large enough to devalue gold significantly, making them want to keep it hidden and mabey even use it as a tool of economic cure, gold prices being so high eveybody (lower/middle class) getting rid of thier gold, and getting paid good for it.  then pretend one day, gold aint worth half what it was all the sudden, only the wealthy get brought down, equalizing everything haha. or what other reason would this situation happen for?
