If there is a sound or light coming from the basement or attic, do not open the door to investigate. Instead, bar the door and prop a chair under the handle.
Nothing good ever came out of a cellar.
The car will never start. Don’t even bother.
Never disturb someone’s remains.
Coincidences aren’t.
If someone starts screaming horribly, do not go back for them. If they’re screaming, it’s already too late.
Grab the machete, not the gun. It doesn’t jam in the climax, doesn’t need reloading in inopportune moments, and doesn’t run out of ammo.
Never dismiss the old local legends.
Abandoned hospitals, houses, or mines are abandoned for a reason.
When the power and telephones go out, do not try to ride it out until morning. Get the F*ck out of there.
