19 People Who Asked to Be Roasted and the Internet Obliged

It's important for us to remember that we're alive, and for that we have to feel something. Unfortunately, it can often be hard to feel positive things, and finding people to show us love is always a challenge. That's why some folks turn to more devious methods of feeling something, like Reddit's infamous r/RoastMe subreddit, where users submit themselves to a no-holds-barred roast in hopes that it will help them, you know, feel something.

Each person gives a small prompt or description of themselves before submitting to the roasting, and one man stuck out as particularly downtrodden. "26m, unemployed, still live with my parents, only ever been with one girl and she left me for my brother, a heavy marijuana user. Have at it."

The people did "have at it," and informed him that "all of what you typed was obvious from the photo." Considering his long and messy hair, unkept style, small room, and Johnny Cash shirt, the stereotype certainly fits. An Eminem poster on his wall completes the image. "Keep this up and your parents will also leave you for your brother," another commenter wrote.
