Taylor Swift and her devoted fans have always acted more like a religious cult than typical music lovers, but the release of her most recent album, "The Tortured Poets Society," has really separated the diehards from the casuals. And now, some of those diehards are posting some pretty ridiculous things. 

I would argue that Swifties get more hate than they deserve; there's nothing wrong with devoting yourself to a (mostly) harmless fandom, but calling yourself a "victim" is a stretch. Especially when you're an upper middle class white person. One delusional "Swiftie" even posted a meme likening Taylor Swift fandom to Jewish Holocaust persecution. That deserves a whole double facepalm. 

But Swifties aren't the only group who had some facepalm-able moments over the past week, and to see those you should check out this collection of recent fails and facepalms that show off the worst side of humanity.
