If you're lucky enough to have awesome neighbors like these, good for you!

Sadly, we live in a basement apartment where we can literally watch the entire world pass us by, admiring their shoes as they trample our dreams without even knowing it. Have you ever looked up hoping you're about to see the sky, only to see the tracksuited legs and dusty Adidas shoes of the Serbian deli owner across the street, pacing the sidewalk as he yells about his divorce into the phone?

One of my neighbors slipped this under my door while I was practicing, I thought they were going to make a noise complaint but they just had a request. I played it with my windows open and I heard really loud clapping come from a balcony a few stories up which was super lovely. I’m in such a lovely mood now it’s so nice to be appreciated.

Our neighbor gives treats through the fence. Recently he has been giving my daughter treats too. This is them waiting patiently today.
