When 29-year-old Nathan Buhler lost his phone in the Bow River he chalked it up to a loss and didn’t bother looking for it.

It turned out to be the firefighters of Calgary No. 1, who decided to rename the phone “Hector Sanchez” and have a little fun while trying to contact the owner.

He thought it to be gone forever, until 10 days later when photos from a mysterious source began surfacing on his Facebook page.
