Creepy Things Found In French Canals

This is what happens when you decide to clean once every fifteen years.

1.
A French canal was cleaned after 15 years.
2.
It was in the popular city of Paris and it was also a popular tourist location.

But still they let it be a waste dump for years...

... with sh*t like this.

It took three months to dry it out.
6.
Three months and over 10 millions Euro.

But it turned out fish were actually living in the murky water.
9.
The fish were saved and said to be in a better place now. I hope it means a river, lake or a stream not a stove.

There was about 4,5 ton of fish there, now leaving behind the trash they lived with for over a decade...

...like boomboxes, cellphones, bikes, scooters, and bunch of other stuff still to be identified.
12.
The last time this place was taken care of was in 2001.

The French claim that the canal is dirty cause of... it's popularity with the tourists.
14.
Yes, that's right there say it's not their fault.
15.
People of France claim it was the tourists that come and leave a mess. Ungrateful much?
