For graduating high schoolers, prom is the day that every popular kid looks forward to, and every other kid dreads. It's a day that celebrates everything you've achieved before college and makes abundantly clear everything you haven't. No date? No friends? No self-confidence? This is not your day. You're expected to get dressed up and look as cool as you possibly can, all while being in the least cool phase of your entire life. And they take dozens of photos your family will show everyone for the rest of your life. 

A bad prom photo can follow you for a long time, and bad celebrity prom photos are invariably uncovered and made fun of. Fortunately, none of these people grew into household names, (that I know of), because their photos are noteworthy for some questionable reasons. Through their own artistic choices, or something unfortunately out of their control, here are 20 cringe prom photo fails.
