Let’s face it, you watched maybe two of the movies nominated for the Oscars this year. While you don’t have 8 hours to binge-watch all the Best Picture nominees, you do have time to read some tweets about them. It’s basically the same thing.

The day before the awards a screenwriter claimed that The Holdovers plagiarized his script, Frisco, but after film Twitter spent the entire weekend flipping through both scripts, they decided Frisco was so bad that The Holdovers could have been plagiarized. In other drama, the dog from Anatomy of a Fall, Messi, was barred from attending the awards. Luckily he found his way to the theater.
