Jumping on the 'we hate the HOA' bandwagon.

Another from the subreddit that keeps on giving, Malicious Compliance. And I'll preface this one by saying I don't even own a home and I already hate the HOA just from all of the ridiculous stories I've heard and read online.

This one is no different. The OP begins by stating that one of her professors (a very private person) had new neighbors move in next to him. The neighbors just happened to be super nosy. The professor had previously installed a 4ft fence for his dog, but wanted something a bit larger.

So he decided to put in an 8ft fence. Problem solved. Welp not according to the Homeowner's Association. Apparently the fence was 'too tall.' So instead of getting fined, he had the fence taken down. But not before doing his own research. And that's where we meet the pettiest of kings. Enjoy.
