DDB Stockholm an advertising agency made a PR win for McDonald's. Or so they thought. -

You could turn in empty cans and receive burgers. Good for the environment and perfect for college kids who drink at concerts and get hungry... -

...where they gonna go? To McDonald's of course. Things were going well and people responsible were probably about tp celebrate on a beach and have a party themselves when the plan backfired. -

Someone realized that you "pay with junk for junk-food" and McDonald's Sweden is associated with trash and over drinking. Not good, isn't it?
