      • You make a good point--I didn't so much bail as I..."took long breaks" in between reading them. I did NOT get up to that sequence you spoke of, but it's been a while, and I'm sure I can pick up where I left off now. ;) I would just chill and read them in a Borders. It's definitely tough to see the stories diverge especially when there may be specific sequences you cannot wait to see orchestrated on screen. It's weird because with any change from medium, they almost have to be treated differently at points because what may work well on paper for a comic may not translate as well story-wise for a 45 min TV show. But--I'm gonna stay hopeful everything's going to work out for an epic series! Based on the feel so far, I don't foresee it being as dark as the series. I think we kind of got a taste of what kind of drama we're dealing with when we saw the story with one of the initial characters and his dead wife, but then again, it is a drama and we're only three episodes in, so who knows!

      • Yes, YES, my thoughts exactly. Norman Reedus was definitely a more than pleasant surprise!! I love this--gone from bad ass Irish vigilante to red neck Zombiegeddon survivor. Awesome >.
