      • This is all true, but you can also shop at less expensive stores. Walmart has like $5 bras that do the EXACT same thing and thrift stores or Salvation Army stores are not just for hipsters. Fuck lacy underwears, I get the bikini briefs you buy in packages and its like heaven on my ladybutt. Frilly undies are uncomfortable. Stop whining for no reason...

      • Oh I don't disrespect it exactly, I just respect it in a different aspect than you do maybe? Like I said before, I feel as though the Bible is a great historical artifact because it shows how people lived and thought during the time it was written. I just don't respect it as a holy or sacred document. Maybe respect isn't the right word, because that comes off harsh, but you get what I mean?

      • @Omnitone, I think I get what you're saying but I don't see it as ignorance or even empowerment. I just see it as having a difference of opinion. Their belief system shouldn't have been forced on others and then when someone chose to worship something else or nothing at all was called a heretic. And isn't choosing "differently" essentially going "against" anyway? Just because its opposing their beliefs shouldn't give them the right to treat them as a lesser person. I feel like it would be more intelligent to have an open mind and be able to disagree with something but still be able to understand their view point. I'm not sure if I'm making sense... lol

      • The King James version was practically re-written by none other than...King James! He left out and changed parts to fit his needs. The fact that the stories in the Bible were first oral stories passed down, then written and scribed and changed and so on shows that its not exactly a credible historical documentation of actual events. The Bible is important, but only as an historical artifact. About the same importance as finding a Viking burial site or Egyptian boats. I also like that you said "The manuscripts from which all Bible versions are based...". That proves my point.

      • To somewhat answer your question, being able to choose not to follow the religion of the time. Yes, you are correct. They would be labeled outcasts. But by modern standards being called a heretic, and using the base meaning- "able to choose"- should not be a bad thing. I don't understand how you can find being labeled a reject or outcast because someone chooses to believe differently than the norm acceptable.
