That's one thing I regret is having a girlfriend through most of my high school years. I wish I would've gone out and just gotten hammered at a ton of parties and just went with the flow. I have more fun now, but don't let so much ride on the way you feel at school dances. Just go with it...

      • I agree with everything you said. I recently enlisted in the USMC and am leaving as soon as I finish this next semester for MCRD San Diego. I put my signature down knowing full well that I could go to Iraq and could possibly never come home. That was the only way I figured I could "support the troops" and help the cause. I am on your side on this one, I wish more people could understand where you are coming from. But for everyone out there that are flaming this guy for what he said, I joined knowing full well of whats happening. If I did not want to go to Iraq and help, I would not have signed up. Don't bring people home if they don't want to. It's like you saying end it, your not even in it. Just leave it to the people who actually care.
