      • Lol, how is 85 to 95 percent of people the same as "every single person who went out and registered themselves to vote"? That would be 100%, no? Pointless bickering aside, I personally think if you need a stupid motivational blog to get you to vote you're better off just staying home.

      • You're retarded. In 2000, 86% of those registered to vote voted. In 2004, 89% of those who were registered to vote voted. Now sit down, and shut up.

      • I looked at it and I'm pretty sure all it would do is change the constitution to say that only marriage between a man and a woman is legal. I didn't see anything about what would be taught in schools.

      • I didn't say I wouldn't worry about the cost of nationalized healthcare, I just didn't mention it.

      • Where are you actually getting your information from? I did a quick Google; "Hugo Chavez Barack Obama" and didn't find anything about this, which I figure would be important enough to be on the first page. Chavez also isn't on Obama's endorsements page on Wikipedia.

      • I know what you're saying, and it should be a bit of a concern, but again, I doubt it's going to play much of a roll in his leadership if he gets the presidency. He doesn't seem to be that big into faith, and may be relying on religion just because he knows there's no way to get elected in this country if you don't believe in the Christian God.

      • I agree with you except on abortion and on the death penalty. Your education ideas do seem pretty expensive but I think the extra cost would be worth it.

About Me

"When I, a thoughtful and unblessed Presbyterian, examine the Koran, I know that beyond any question every Mohammedan is insane, not in all things, but in religious matters. When a thoughtful and unblessed Mohammedan examines the Westminster Catechism, he knows that beyond any question I am spiritually insane. I cannot prove to him that he is insane, because you never can prove anything to a lunatic — for that is a part of his insanity and the evidence of it. He cannot prove to me that I am insane, for my mind has the same defect that afflicts his... When I look around me, I am often troubled to see how many people are mad."

"I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it."

"Of all the creatures that were made he [man] is the most detestable. Of the entire brood he is the only one — the solitary one — that possesses malice. That is the basest of all instincts, passions, vices — the most hateful...He is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain."
