      • It's not a "fascination with killing animals". Hunting is just one of those things you can't understand unless you do it. I've been a hunter ever since I could walk with a gun. At the same time, I have horses, cats, and a dog. Hunters are simply not the ruthless killers that PETA, the Sierra Club, and other extreme environmental and "animal rights", groups portray them to be. Are there some bad hunters? Ones who "kill for fun"? Of course. I've met one or two in my 20 years of hunting, and they give us a bad name. The vast majority though, are ethical, and actually are compassionate towards animals. Ted Nugent, and myself included. Again, you can't understand it unless you go do it. You know, we are animals, and we do have instincts to hunt. Some have just been groomed to believe that hunting is vile, ruthless, senseless animal murder.
