      • @smb275...are you from america? have you been in a coma the last 30 years? You honestly cant see where our country is heading if we keep obeying any request the "law" asks of us? And you are correct not all cops are power tripping pigs and yes alot are just doing their jobs...but knowing the law should be in their data base lol And without suspicion (already a flaky excuse to stop someone) they can not just stop you and ask for I.D. And, no, carrying a gun in an area that permits it is not a crime nor is it suspicious. He was correct hence why the super (when he got there) let him go...immediately actually.

      • just because he was a nice cop doesn't mean he wasn't (if he would have successfully obtained his I.D.) breaking the law. Why do you think his super let him go? You can't just stop people for no reason and ask for identification. This isn't soviet russia. If the "law" (justice system is a complete joke btw) states you can carry a weapon...then he wasn't breaking a single "law". So therefore I.D., name, address, etc...does not have to be given. Simple as that. And if we get to the point where officers can just stop people for "cause for concern" (which they can make anything a CfC) then god help us because we are in for a wild ride courtesy of the US government. And if you want to play the he was a reasonable cop just trying to do his job card..save your breath. Like i said before the officers request, although gentle lol, is still illegal. And rightfully so. Abuse of power by todays police is out of hand...and you know it.
