      • A rental car driving in an area known for interstate trafficking is well more than enough unfortunately. As you said, it shouldn't be that way, but here we are. Just like you can get a ticket for simply being in a high drug sales area, just being there is enough probable cause for these scumbags.

      • That should work, but unfortunately it doesn't always. They can just get a warrant. They don't give up like that on interdiction stops. My friend tried that. They took his cash and he had nothing illegal on him. They also temporarily confiscated his rental car. He could try to get the cash back only if he was willing to risk charges. So his option was to take a loss or risk jail time for doing nothing wrong.

      • This happened to my best friend who was on his was to visit his dad. They told him that he could fight it in court, but that they would pursue felony charges against him if he did. They said he was transporting cartel money. Legalized gangsters.

      • Illegally crossing two lanes in front of a cop without proper signaling distance. Suddenly deciding to pull off of the road the cop is on like he is trying to dodge him. Not complying with the officer and taking an aggressive posture. He probably just got pulled over because he's black though. You can tell he's really hurt when he starts tapping his hand on the stretcher right as he goes by the camera....because when you're really hurt you would be doing something dramatic to let everyone know how hurt you are rather than lying still because you're hurt. I'm shocked that some reverend came out of the woodwork to claim racism, that's something new. I doubt that this guy will sue for big money. Clearly about black and white, not an officer doing what he's trained to do. Hopefully this guy gets many millions of dollars for his suffering so this never happens again. Maybe the reverend can be compensated too for his emotional distress from watching the video.

      • @skeeter The cost is to cover the treatment is $50k. So if $72 mil is nothing then how is that too much? Turns out a charity stepped up to the plate before the company. So the CEO hung up on them and decided he would finally ante up since he already looked so bad. He can't have a charity pay and make them look worse. Maybe next time they won't be d-bags in the first place.

      • That's how many people die, not how many are affected by it. The potential profit doesn't only come from people who are going to die. How hard is that to understand. Not many people who get it die from it. Some are affected worse than others. Information on how many people die from it is public. This isn't some guesswork number.
