      • We are desensitized to many things. We hear about murder and killings all the time, and we usually don't think much of it anymore. However, you hear a story about a flight attended masterbating on a passenger while she was sleeping, and you think "Holy shit! That's kinda weird and fucked up". My point is, when you keep hearing about something, no matter how bad it is, it becomes normal and gets less thought each time; but when you hear a unique story that is completely unheard of, then you have a completely different reaction; despite the fact that killing is way worse than the example I compared it to.
