- I don't doubt the fact that America supplied the British but ultimatly we deflected their attacks and any other speculation about what COULD have happened is simply that. . .pure speculation. I never said Britain could have lead a counter attack on thier own, we clearly couldnt thats why Britain was invloved in the D-Day landings with American (in which my great uncle was killed on the beaches). what pisses me off the most is "hey we saved your ass in WW2" instead a more accurate thing to say would be "hey we supplied your ass in WW2"
