      • My great state of Minnesota elected (maybe) Al Franken(stein). He announced he is going to have town hall meetings now. EXCEPT the only people who will be allowed in are Dem. fundraisers, campaign supporters, and union officials. The only reason I can see for this is because this must be the meeting where they hand out the brown shirts and there are only so many to go around. It's funny to see that when the protesting shoe is on the other foot, suddenly we are all "trouble makers". I'm just sayin......

      • My nerd is going to show here but I read them as well. I had stopped in the 80's because the art was sucky and to complete a story you had to buy 7 different titles. But the new stuff is good. I really like the Ultimate titles and the revamping of Thor is great. At least until Straczynski leaves. The Black Lantern story arc by DC is also looking pretty interesting. Marvel also has on line subscriptions now so hopefully that will get some younger kids interested.
