      • That isn't true if you look as the man uncovers the guns, there are a couple of M1s in the pile, but yes, they didn't have M16s and AR15s yet. However sahandshakeri, that means both sides were "equal". With all the bitching going on about "assault" rifles we aren't even close to being equal anymore! We have to be licensed to drive, yet 10 times more death occur with cars than guns of any kind, so how's that working? My don't we start using the death penalty again and start getting rid of the garbage! How can anyone fear committing a crime when that person knows that society thinks it's wrong to kill criminals that kill innocent people? You start fitting the punishments to the crimes I guarantee a lot will think twice because most of them WANT to live!

      • Nicely written, although I felt you did repeat the issue, but still, nicely done! I look at it this way. The one thing I find in common on both sides of this subject is that they seem to be "obsessed" over their beliefs. I don't. Now when someone jams his or hers ideas down my throat and gives me an ultimatum ( believe this or your lost ) then I lash back. I found out it doesn't do any good though. No matter how much you prove your side, they always stick to their own beliefs. So, fine! Let em! My first wife obsessed over this issue. She really thought there was an after life. She even watched that John Edwards guy on TV every chance she got. Even though we didn't agree, I respected her, and she did the same in return. Sadly she died 7 years later. Is she with her relatives in the afterlife? I don't know, but what is important is that "she" believes she is! About Me

I am for the 2nd amendment. I am for LESS government and more FREEDOM. I don't agree with people who think that they need the government to be their guide and tell them what to do. I believe in thinking for yourself. George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Sam Kinison, and Foster Brooks are my favorite comedians. I don't like Religions jammed down my throat, but I do believe in the idea of Karma because I have seen it in action many times. My creed is : I don't have any time for bullshit and I don't give it. The 3 things I love the most is playing and making music, riding my bike, and eating pussy.
