  - seriously. hes a good guy though i know he doesnt want to lay anyone off but thats just the way things go ya know. he ended up letting go the team lead which just increased his own work load. hes already coming in here on weekends as it is. fuck that i wouldnt want that life even if he makes twice as much as me ( which he doesnt even make that)

  - nah we got the lay off talk. i mean its the same shit. you have no job. they get to work for 3 months then they are sent packing. at least they get 3 months

  - in your case i think outsourcing would be an absolute idiotic thing to do. It would suck to lose an employee but if lopping off the weakest link means you can stay and work then so be it, right? my department went from 25 strong 4 years ago to 10 now. i just cant take on anymore work. well i guess i could i am on this site all day

  - yeah our CEO is not a good bull shitter. he has admited that we will not strive to be number 1. that we are ok at 2. hes sold off everything that made the company what it was. he actually has done some good. it just seems like these lay offs are unnecessary. most profitable year = firing 16000? wtf. and we did have a great year here.
