      • actually jinky, not that i condone what bigwilli said, americas power isnt so much because of our stockpile of nuclear weapons, however it may be the fact we are the largest fiscal nation who supports the economy of many other nations. and also we have very sophisticated military technology as well as a large military. nukes hold a great significance, but mainly they are used as a deterent for other nations who may intend to use nuclear weapons against us. in fact russia has a larger nuclear stockpile than the u.s.
