      • create to govern so many people. No one system should govern so many people at once. This man's fate is a small example of the pain thus created, but in a smaller system he might just be killed for putting so many people in danger. I can't say either way is right really. It's all uncontrollable bullshit.

      • On a personal level I would agree only because I wouldn't want him being a threat to myself or anyone I care about, and I don't personally care about his feelings or his family's feelings. If I answered objectively I would say his record indicates he won't change and he probably would put someone in danger, I'd feel like keeping him in prison would be cruel to him and his family but letting him out might be cruel to any random person's family. I tend to think someone's actions are largely a combination of genetics, chemical balance, and situation, all beyond their control. this man probably has some degree of innocence that we can't imagine, but like I said I don't personally care. I haven't the capacity to realistically consider his feelings or his families feelings, and neither does anyone deciding his fate. Anyone who says they can actually care about his feelings is a damn liar or they are delusional. It's unfortunate that we have the kind of blanket justice system that we have to
