The bouquet catch is a time-honored wedding tradition. It usually goes as follows: a bride grabs her bouquet, turns around, then throws it behind her into the crowd. The woman who catches the bouquet, it is said, will be the next to be married.

Well, it turns out that some people are really, really excited by the idea of being married — and they’ll beat the daylights out of whoever stands in their way of that goal.

That’s exactly what happened at this wedding, where a simple bouquet toss ended with black eyes all around.
