'Bully': The Most Offensive Game Ever Made

In 2006 Rockstar Games released Bully, a game where you ... well, bully. You play as a 15-year-old named Jimmy Hopkins and are enrolled in a boarding school. You have to go to class, obey the rules, visit freak shows at carnivals, take lewd photos of cheerleaders, harass your teachers, and destroy kids of all ages in hand-to-hand combat.

Originally released for Playstation 2, there was a remastered version released for Xbox 360 and Wii in 2008.

It's initial release sold over 1.5 million copies and won a handful of year-end accolades including Gamespot's aware for Best Original Music, finalist for Gamespot's Game of the Year, and others.

The game was (understandably) banned in Brazil in April of 2008 when a Brazilian judge banned sales and import of the game. The decision was based on a ruling from the state psychology society which ruled that it would be potentially harmful for teens.
