Regardless of what's going on with American celebrities on their home turf, they will always have those random foreign fan bases that go absolutely crazy for them. Because some people somewhere must find Americans to be exotic.

Whatever the reason, this Italian soda brand hired Owen Wilson to star in a commercial where he's not required to try to speak Italian at all. Instead they just have him waving a breadstick sword covered in thinly sliced meat.

This commercial probably makes as much sense in Italian as it does in the U.S. That is, it makes zero sense and whoever came up with the idea probably needs to go sit by themselves for a while and think about what they've done.
