Young people are stupid.

Well, to be clear, I’m not saying today’s young people are stupid; I’m saying that, throughout history, some of humankind’s dumbest acts have also been carried out by its youngest.

And that’s fine! Part of the joy of being young is doing things you’ll later regret. Whom amongst us doesn’t have a scar that they got during a teenage escapade — or a haunting memory of a text they sent a girl when they were so ungodly horny they could barely think?

But while this is normal for teens, for the adults that must manage them in school, it’s hell. Hear how this teacher describes her present high school students, and thank the good lord that you went through high school while social media was in its infancy.
