This effect was easier than I thought it would be. I sawed off the tips of a pair of scissors and filed the edges so they wouldn't be sharp. I used dress tape to attach them to my leg and then filled in with gelatin and smoothed into the skin with wax. A little make-up, powder and of course blood and all done.
