The 911 call was place as Jaydon Chavez-Silver, 17, was shot last month while he watched his friends play cards at a home in Albuquerque. The caller was heard frantically telling the victim to keep breathing, and eventually snapped at the dispatcher in her panicked state. The dispatcher, Matthew Sanchez, then tells her that "OK, you know what ma'am? You can deal with it yourself. I am not going to deal with this, OK?" The caller can be heard saying "No, my friend is dying," before the dispatcher hangs up. Chavez-Silver died from his wounds. No arrests have been made in the shooting. Sanchez has been "reassigned."
