If you live in a climate that has proper winters, you’re going to slip on ice. Hopefully, the fall won’t be too bad, but no matter which way you shake it, there’s going to be at least one point in your life where the traction on your boots goes and you’re forcefully sent downward upon your bottom.

This patch of ice caused a lot of people to meet that fate. Even though it’s just a few square feet of ice, the lack of friction will clearly send some people home with a few bruises and a bit of a limp.
