Woman Films Herself Using Kids’ Playground Equipment. It Doesn’t Go Well

Over the years, childrens’ playground equipment seems to have gotten softer and softer.

First, we did away with the hard, metallic sides in favor of wood. When kids kept getting splinters, we switched to the rounded edges of plastic before removing anything that could be flung, swung or otherwise thrown at another child.

Some of these changes were for the best. Others deprived kids of the meaningful experience of being knocked out by a tetherball. I don’t know where this device falls on that spectrum.

This woman is showing off a thing that kids intentionally fall through for fun (kids are weird, okay?). While she’s never done it herself, that changes for this video — and it doesn’t go great.
