People. Please stop climbing Mount Everest. Summiting Everest was once thought of as an incredible achievement, only limited to those with the bravery, ferocity and insanity to actually go through with it. Today, while the journey is still nothing to sneeze at, you can basically just pay a dude to take you up there — and as a result, the mountain has become packed to the brim with adventurers eagerly awaiting what will likely be their Facebook cover photo for the rest of their lives.

While the trip is now significantly easier than it once was, there are still some aspects that would have us packing our sleds and heading back down the mountain — specifically, this ladder, which looks like it’s only used by those who truly wish for death.
